Due to a staff retirement, Richmond Community Services Inc. has an exciting vacancy coming up in January
2022 for a coordinator of the Hawkesbury Neighbour Aid Service offering a social home visiting servicing to
frail aged people over 65 living in their own homes in the Hawkesbury, based In Richmond. This is an
opportunity to become a member of a highly proactive and dedicated team starting work with us in January

Selection criteria:

1. Academic qualifications and/or demonstrable and significant experience in
Social/Community Welfare
2. Demonstrable Program Management skills and experience
3. Demonstrable knowledge of the Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) and the
Community Care National Standards including Quality Reviews
4. Demonstrable knowledge of CHSP client assessment procedures and My Aged Care
5. Demonstrable experience in working with volunteers and linking volunteers with clients
6. Demonstrable Project evaluation, planning and report writing skills
7. Demonstrable experience in working within a budget
8. Demonstrable experience in working with frail older people
9. Demonstrable experience in facilitating/organising/ presenting client groups and outings
10. Understanding and commitment to the principles of EEO, WH&S and cultural diversity
11. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
12. Computer literate
13. Driver’s license and access to a comprehensively insured vehicle

Desirable:

1. Experience with reporting to the DEX Data Exchange
