Melissa Stubbings is a Darug woman from the Buruberongal and Warmali clans. She has lived in the Hawkesbury all her life and has just moved back to Richmond. She has 4 children, 1 son in law and 1 granddaughter.
Melissa is the Manager of Merana
Aboriginal Community Association for the Hawkesbury Inc and is a founding member of the organisation. Melissa has worked in the community sector for 22 years and has a passion for social justice and raising awareness of injustices towards Aboriginal peoples. Melissa’s is a nationally Accredited Mediator, Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner, trainer and facilitator.
